In Friday's league challenge, the host Randle Lions volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Fort Bend Marshall Buffalos.

The Lions (14-24) will now prepare for their challenge against Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX). The Mustangs come into the 5A Region III District 22 challenge with a 15-12 record. In their last challenge, Lamar Consolidated edged Fort Bend Kempner (Sugar Land, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Buffalos play the Victoria East Titans (Victoria, TX) in a 5A Region III District 22 challenge, on Tuesday, October 22. Fort Bend Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 18-13 record after their 3-0 league win over Terry (Rosenberg, TX).
