Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Scituate improves its record to 10-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Narragansett (Narragansett, RI) to encounter the Mariners in a Division 3 test on Monday, October 21. The Mariners go into the test with a record of 11-3. Narragansett won 3-0 in their recent league test against Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI)

The Panthers now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tiverton for a Division 3 test on Tuesday, October 22. Johnston will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI). The Tigers record now stands at 8-6.
