Texas High School Volleyball - Newman Smith over The Colony

The Newman Smith Trojans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting The Colony Cougars to 1 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now have a 12-18 record. They play next when they travel to Reedy for a 5A Region II District 12 outing on Tuesday, October 22. Newman Smith will play a Lions team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Lions record now stands at 13-18.

With the loss, The Colony drops to 7-20 on the campaign. The Cougars host Highland Park (Dallas, TX) to play the Scots in a 5A Region II District 12 outing on Tuesday, October 22. The Scots come into the outing with a record of 27-9. Highland Park won 3-1 in their recent league outing against Wakeland (Frisco, TX)
