The Walnut Grove Wildcats (Prosper, TX) volleyball knocked off the host Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX), 3-0 in Friday's league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 25-15 record. They play next when they travel to McKinney North for a 5A Region II District 9 bout on Tuesday, October 22. Walnut Grove will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Lovejoy (Lucas, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 21-9.

With the loss, Sherman drops to 16-20 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Anna (Anna, TX) to clash with the Coyotes in a 5A Region II District 9 bout on Tuesday, October 22.
