Nevada High School Volleyball - Virgin Valley tips Silverado

In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Virgin Valley Bulldogs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Silverado Skyhawks.

The Bulldogs (24-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Mater Academy East Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 5-10 record. In their last challenge, Mater Academy East Las Vegas was nudged by Cheyenne (North Las Vegas, NV), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Skyhawks meet the Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 19. Silverado will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record. The Desert Shields come into the challenge with a 9-16 record after their 3-1 league win over Mater Academy East Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV).
