In Saturday's non-league contest, the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) soccer team edged the host Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM), by a margin of 2-1.
The Bears now hold a 11-3 record. They play next when they host Santa Fe for a challenge on Wednesday, October 22. La Cueva will encounter a Demons squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Demons record now stands at 8-7.
The Jaguars (10-1) will now prepare for their contest against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs enter the non-league contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Manzano was nipped by Sandia (Albuquerque, NM), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
