The Fernley Vaqueros soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Lowry Buckaroos to 2 in the Vaqueros league victory on Saturday.
The Vaqueros now have a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Churchill County for a game on Friday, October 24. Fernley will face a Greenwave team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV). The Greenwave record now stands at 1-12.
The Buckaroos (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Elko (Elko, NV). The Indians come into the bout with a 7-5 record.
