In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Carondelet Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Granada Matadors.

The Cougars (19-11) will now prepare for their challenge against American (Fremont, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 12-2 record. In their last challenge, American beat Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA), 2-1, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Matadors face the Livermore Cowboys (Livermore, CA) in a test, on Tuesday, October 21. Granada will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record. The Cowboys go into the test with a 1-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Albany (Albany, CA).
