In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Allen Park Jaguars volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Algonac Muskrats.
Next up, the Jaguars face the Royal Oak Ravens (Royal Oak, MI) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 18. Allen Park will attempt to advance on its 22-8 season record. The Ravens go into the game with a 4-17 record after their 3-2 league win over Seaholm (Birmingham, MI).
The Muskrats (11-21) will now prepare for their game against Almont (Almont, MI). The Raiders go into the Blue Water Area game with a 6-18 record. In their last game, Almont nudged Dryden (Dryden, MI), 3-0, in a non-league game.
