The Astoria Fishermen volleyball squad (Astoria, OR), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Pendleton Buckaroos (Pendleton, OR)

The Buckaroos (17-3) will now prepare for their contest against Estacada (Estacada, OR). The Rangers enter the non-league contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Estacada was beaten by The Dalles (The Dalles, OR), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Fishermen meet the Scappoose Indians (Scappoose, OR) in a 4A Cowapa test, on Monday, October 20. Astoria will attempt to improve on its 13-6 season record.
