Mackinac Island Lakers (Mackinac Island, MI) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Beaver Island Islanders (Beaver Island, MI), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Lakers (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Maplewood Baptist Academy (Kinross, MI). The Black Bears come into the Northern Lights challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Maplewood Baptist Academy beat Bay Mills Ojibwe Charter (Brimley, MI), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Islanders play the Mackinaw City Comets (Mackinaw City, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 1. Beaver Island will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
