Martin L Olson Lynx (Golovin, AK) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Brevig Mission Huskies (Brevig Mission, AK), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Lynx (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Shishmaref (Shishmaref, AK). The Northern Lights come into the Mix 6 Western challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Shishmaref beat Unalakleet (Unalakleet, AK), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Huskies play the White Mountain Wolves (White Mountain, AK) in a Mix 6 Western challenge, on Saturday, October 18. Brevig Mission will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Wolves go into the test with a 4-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Martin L Olson (Golovin, AK).
