West Virginia High School Volleyball - Lewis County edged by Bridgeport

October 18, 2025: Weston, WV 26452

Fans at Saturday's league contest between the Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) and the host Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV), observed Bridgeport's volleyball team hold off Lewis County by a count of 2-1.

The Indians (27-11) will now prepare for their contest against Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV). The Buccaneers enter the Big Ten contest with a 14-15 record.

In their next game, the Minutemen encounter the Elkins Tigers (Elkins, WV) in a Big Ten battle, on Monday, October 20. Lewis County will attempt to improve on its 20-16 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 17-15 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Tucker County (Hambleton, WV).
