In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Pennfield Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Calhoun Christian Cougars.
The Panthers (22-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI). The Beavers go into the non-league test with a 21-15 record. In their last test, Harper Creek gained a win over Marshall (Marshall, MI), 3-0, in a league test.
The Cougars now sport a 16-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harper Creek for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 18. Calhoun Christian will play a Beavers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Marshall (Marshall, MI). The Beavers record now stands at 21-15.
