In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Canajoharie/Fort Plain volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Cobleskill-Richmondville Bulldogs.

The (21-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Mekeel Christian Academy (Schenectady, NY). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 19-4 record. In their last test, Mekeel Christian Academy nudged Schoharie (Schoharie, NY), 3-0, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Duanesburg for a Section 2 Western - Northern test on Tuesday, October 21. Cobleskill-Richmondville will play a Eagles team coming off a 1-1 non-league Mekeel Christian Academy (Schenectady, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 5-9.
