Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Central Indians (St. Joseph, MO) and the visiting Truman Patriots (Independence, MO), observed Central's volleyball team top Truman by a tally of 2-0.

The Indians (11-19) will now prepare for their test against Raymore-Peculiar (Peculiar, MO). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 22-8 record. In their last test, Raymore-Peculiar achieved victory over Blue Springs (Blue Springs, MO), 3-2, in a league test.

The Patriots now own a 8-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Raymore-Peculiar for a non-league test on Saturday, October 18. Truman will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-2 league win over Blue Springs (Blue Springs, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 22-8.
