New Mexico High School Volleyball - Lordsburg over Cloudcroft

In Saturday's league challenge, the visiting Lordsburg Mavericks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Cloudcroft Bears.
The Mavericks (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM). The SonBlazers come into the 2A District 3 challenge with a 13-4 record. In their last challenge, Mesilla Valley Christian School gained a win over Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM), 3-0, in a league test.
The Bears now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mescalero Apache for a 2A District 3 test on Tuesday, October 21. Cloudcroft will face a Chiefs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-16.
