Illinois High School Volleyball - Lincoln-Way East over Downers Grove South

The Lincoln-Way East Griffins volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Downers Grove South Mustangs to 0 in the Griffins non-league triumph on Saturday.

Next up, the Griffins confront the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban game, on Tuesday, October 21. Lincoln-Way East will attempt to advance on its 25-8 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 16-15 record after their 2-1 league win over Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL).

With the loss, Downers Grove South drops to 22-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL) to clash with the Celtics in a non-league outing on Monday, October 20. The Celtics come into the match with a record of 26-3. Providence Catholic won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL)
