West Virginia High School Volleyball - Robert C. Byrd over Fairmont Senior

In Saturday's league challenge, the host Robert C. Byrd Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears.

Next up, the Eagles face the South Harrison Hawks (Lost Creek, WV) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 21. Robert C. Byrd will attempt to advance on its 12-14 season record. The Hawks go into the game with a 21-6 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV).

The Polar Bears (7-21) will now prepare for their game against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV). The Indians go into the Big Ten game with a 24-11 record. In their last game, Bridgeport went down by Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV), 2-0, in a non-league game.
