The Sparta Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Greenville Yellow Jackets to 1 in the Spartans league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now have a 17-9 record. They play next when they travel to Lowell for a River Cities Alliance outing on Saturday, October 18. Sparta will play a Red Arrows team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Lakewood (Lake Odessa, MI). The Red Arrows record now stands at 26-7.

With the loss, Greenville drops to 15-14 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets travel to Sparta (Sparta, MI) to play the Spartans in a River Cities Alliance outing on Saturday, October 18. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 15-8. Sparta won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Tri-Unity Christian (Wyoming, MI)
