Nebraska High School Volleyball - Morrill tips Hay Springs

The Morrill Lions (Morrill, NE) volleyball held off the visiting Hay Springs Hawks (Hay Springs, NE), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 22-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gordon-Rushville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 21. Morrill will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-20.

Next, the Hawks battle the Bridgeport Bulldogs (Bridgeport, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 21. Hay Springs will attempt to move on its 19-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 12-18 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Kimball (Kimball, NE).
