University Lab Cubs (Baton Rouge, LA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, University Lab improves its record to 19-1 on the season. The Cubs host Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Monday, October 20. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 19-11. Ascension Catholic won 3-0 in their recent league test against St. John (Plaquemine, LA)

The now own a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cabrini for a Division III District 8 challenge on Tuesday, October 21. Haynes Academy will meet a Crescents team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA). The Crescents record now stands at 5-13.
