In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Hidden Valley Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Siuslaw Vikings.
The Mustangs (3-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Eagle Point (Eagle Point, OR). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 4-10 record. In their last challenge, Eagle Point gained a win over Springfield (Springfield, OR), 3-0, in a league test.
The Vikings now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glide for a 3A Far West test on Tuesday, October 21. Siuslaw will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Coquille (Coquille, OR). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-13.
