Howell Highlanders (Howell, MI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host St. Catherine of Siena Academy Athletes (Wixom, MI), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Highlanders (9-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Fordson (Dearborn, MI). The Tractors enter the non-league challenge with a 12-27 record. In their last challenge, Fordson was beaten by Berkley (Berkley, MI), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Athletes now own a 19-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yale for a non-league test on Saturday, October 18. St. Catherine of Siena Academy will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Imlay City (Imlay City, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 25-15.
