Rising Sun Shiners (Rising Sun, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Jac-Cen-Del Eagles (Osgood, IN), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Shiners (16-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Trinity Lutheran (Seymour, IN). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 17-11 record. In their last challenge, Trinity Lutheran beat Crothersville (Crothersville, IN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
