Spectators at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lakeview Huskies (St. Clair Shores, MI) and the host Jefferson Bears (Monroe, MI), witnessed Lakeview's volleyball team overcome Jefferson by a tally of 2-0.

The Huskies (10-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Divine Child (Dearborn, MI). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 21-13 record. In their last challenge, Divine Child was beaten by Lake Orion (Lake Orion, MI), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Bears now sport a 0-21 record. They put it on the line next when they host Divine Child for a non-league test on Saturday, October 18. Jefferson will face a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Lake Orion (Lake Orion, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 21-13.
