The Trojans now possess a 23-13 record. They play next when they host Renaissance for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 18. Plainwell will play a Phoenix team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Southeastern (Detroit, MI). The Phoenix record now stands at 25-4.

With the loss, Kalamazoo Central drops to 11-21 on the campaign. The Maroon giants travel to Portage Northern (Portage, MI) to confront the Huskies in a non-league game on Wednesday, October 22. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 20-17. Portage Northern lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI)
