The Missouri Valley Big Reds volleyball squad (Missouri Valley, IA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Lewis Central Titans (Council Bluffs, IA)

The Titans (23-10) will now prepare for their contest against Sidney (Sidney, IA). The Cowboys enter the non-league contest with a 11-3 record.

Next, the Big Reds battle the Lincoln Lynx (Council Bluffs, IA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 18. Missouri Valley will attempt to move on its 19-10 season record. The Lynx go into the battle with a 7-24 record after their 3-1 league win over Sioux City West (Sioux City, IA).
