Liberty Christian Patriots (Richland, WA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Yakama Nation Tribal Eagles (Toppenish, WA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Patriots (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Columbia (Burbank, WA). The Coyotes enter the non-league challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Columbia was defeated by Tri-Cities Prep (Pasco, WA), 3-0, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Walla Walla Valley Academy for a 1B Southeast - West challenge on Tuesday, October 21. Yakama Nation Tribal will meet a Knights team coming off a 3-0 league win over Riverside Christian (Yakima, WA). The Knights record now stands at 9-5.
