The Rising Star Wildcats volleyball team (Rising Star, TX), was knocked off 3-0 in Saturday's league contest with the visiting Lingleville Cardinals (Lingleville, TX)

The Cardinals (23-10) will now prepare for their contest against Gustine (Gustine, TX). The Tigers enter the 1A Region II District 14 contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Gustine notched a victory over Rising Star (Rising Star, TX), 3-2, in a league battle.
