South Dakota High School Volleyball - West Central can't hold off Madison

October 18, 2025: Madison, SD 57042

In Saturday's league match, the Madison Bulldogs (Madison, SD) volleyball squad tipped the visiting West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Dell Rapids Quarriers (Dell Rapids, SD) in a A Region 3 battle, on Tuesday, October 21. Madison will attempt to improve on its 16-11 season record. The Quarriers go into the battle with a 22-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD).

The Trojans now own a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Garretson for a A Region 3 battle on Tuesday, October 21. West Central will encounter a Blue Dragons squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN). The Blue Dragons record now stands at 3-20.
