The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Roma Gladiators (Roma, TX) and the visiting Martin Tigers (Laredo, TX), observed Roma's volleyball team top Martin by a count of 3-0.
The Gladiators (13-20) will now prepare for their contest against Palmview (La Joya, TX). The Lobos enter the 5A Region IV District 30 contest with a 23-7 record. In their last contest, Palmview notched a victory over Mission (Mission, TX), 3-1, in a league contest.
Next, the Tigers meet the Palmview Lobos (La Joya, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 30 battle, on Saturday, October 25. Martin will attempt to improve on its 7-23 season record. The Lobos go into the battle with a 24-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Roma (Roma, TX).
