The McCool Junction Mustangs volleyball squad (McCool Junction, NE), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE)

With the win, Meridian moves its record to 12-11 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Cross County (Stromsburg, NE) to battle the Cougars in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 18. The Cougars enter the contest with a record of 20-8. Cross County won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Meridian (Daykin, NE)

Next, the Mustangs battle the Newman Grove/St. Edward Panthers (Newman Grove, NE) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 23. McCool Junction will attempt to improve on its 0-24 season record. The Panthers go into the battle with a 12-14 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Central Valley (Greeley, NE).
