In Saturday's non-league match, the North Medford Black Tornado (Medford, OR) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Mountain View Cougars (Bend, OR), by a count of 2-1.
Next up, the Black Tornado confront the Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR) in a 6A Southwest match, on Tuesday, October 21. North Medford will attempt to move on its 8-12 season record. The Cavemen enter the match with a 7-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to South Eugene (Eugene, OR).
The Cougars (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Redmond (Redmond, OR). The Panthers enter the 5A Intermountain contest with a 8-15 record. In their last contest, Redmond was tipped by West Albany (Albany, OR), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
