In Saturday's non-league battle, the Sandhills/Thedford Knights (Dunning, NE) volleyball squad got by the visiting Mullen Broncos (Mullen, NE), by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Sandhills/Thedford improves its record to 24-4 on the season. The Knights host Anselmo-Merna (Merna, NE) to encounter the Coyotes in a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 21. The Coyotes go into the battle with a record of 12-14. Anselmo-Merna won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against South Loup (Arnold, NE)

The Broncos now own a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cody-Kilgore for a D2 District 12 battle on Tuesday, October 21. Mullen will battle a Cowboys/Cowgirls team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Crawford (Crawford, NE). The Cowboys/Cowgirls record now stands at 2-18.
