The Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals volleyball squad (Greensboro, NC), dropped 3-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Phoenix Academy Firebirds (High Point, NC)

With the win, Phoenix Academy improves its record to 8-16 on the season. The Firebirds host Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC) to encounter the Grizzlies in a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 21. The Grizzlies go into the contest with a record of 16-7. Clover Garden School lost 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC)
