The Union City Chargers edged the visiting Quincy Orioles volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Chargers confront the Maple Valley Lions (Vermontville, MI) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 21. Union City will attempt to advance on its 19-16 season record. The Lions go into the game with a 2-18 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Bellevue (Bellevue, MI).
The Orioles (17-9) will now prepare for their game against Concord (Concord, MI). The Yellowjackets go into the outing with a 23-9 record. In their last outing, Concord was nudged by Bronson (Bronson, MI), 3-1, in a league outing.
