In Saturday's league bout, the Sterling City Eagles (Sterling City, TX) volleyball team knocked off the host Reagan County Owls (Big Lake, TX), by a margin of 3-1.

The Eagles now possess a 19-14 record. They play next when they travel to Forsan for a 2A Region I District 4 bout on Tuesday, October 21. Sterling City will clash with a Buffaloes team coming off a 3-0 league win over Miles (Miles, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 30-7.
