In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Sheldon Irish volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sprague Olympians.

The Irish (22-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Westview (Portland, OR). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 16-8 record. In their last challenge, Westview beat Sunset (Portland, OR), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Olympians meet the North Salem Vikings (Salem, OR) in a 6A Central Valley challenge, on Tuesday, October 21. Sprague will attempt to upgrade on its 23-3 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 2-17 record after their 3-0 league loss to South Salem (Salem, OR).
