With the win, Sandia upgrades its record to 6-6 on the year. The Matadors travel to Farmington (Farmington, NM) to play the Scorpions in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 22. The Scorpions go into the bout with a record of 12-20. Farmington won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM)

The Mustangs now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they host La Cueva for a bout on Saturday, October 22. West Mesa will play a Bears squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears record now stands at 10-2.
