The Matadors (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions enter the non-league challenge with a 13-6 record. In their last challenge, Farmington was dropped by Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) in a challenge, on Saturday, October 22. West Mesa will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM).
