The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) and the visiting Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC), saw Ledford's soccer squad triumph over Oak Grove by a count of 6-1.

The Panthers now hold a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to Asheboro for a Mid-Piedmont 3A test on Monday, October 24. Ledford will meet a Blue Comets squad coming off a 0-0 non-league Williams (Burlington, NC). The Blue Comets record now stands at 18-1.

With the loss, Oak Grove drops to 6-12 on the season. The Grizzlies host Montgomery Central (Troy, NC) to meet the Timberwolves in a Mid-Piedmont 3A test on Monday, October 24. The Timberwolves come into the test with a record of 9-7. Montgomery Central won 3-2 in their recent league test against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC)
