The Weaver Beavers topped the visiting Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Beavers now have a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy for a non-league test on Friday, October 21. Weaver will confront a Phoenix team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Sports & Medical Sciences Academy (Hartford, CT). The Phoenix record now stands at 11-3.
The Jets (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Goodwin Tech (New Britain, CT). The Gladiators enter the non-league test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Goodwin Tech gained a win over Terryville (Terryville, CT), 3-0, in a non-league test.
