In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA) volleyball squad were winner over the host Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Cavaliers battle the Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA) in a Blue Ridge contest, on Thursday, October 20. Lord Botetourt will attempt to better on its 15-3 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the contest with a 5-14 record after their 3-0 league win over Fleming (Roanoke, VA).

With the loss, Auburn moves to 11-7 on the year.
