The Plainfield Panthers volleyball team (Central Village, CT), went down 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT)

The Bobcats (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Fitch (Groton, CT). The Falcons come into the Eastern Connecticut - Large challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Fitch defeated Ledyard (Ledyard, CT), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Montville Indians (Oakdale, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 21. Plainfield will attempt to move on its 9-9 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to East Lyme (East Lyme, CT).
