Virginia High School Volleyball - Cumberland overwhelmed by Buckingham

In Wednesday's league battle, the host Buckingham Knights volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Cumberland Dukes.
The Knights (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Nottoway (Nottoway, VA). The Cougars come into the James River battle with a 16-2 record. In their last battle, Nottoway achieved victory over Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Dukes clash with the Franklin Broncos (Franklin, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 24. Cumberland will attempt to advance on its 1-15 season record. The Broncos come into the battle with a 7-11 record after their 3-0 league win over Sussex Central (Sussex, VA).
