Arizona High School Volleyball - Cesar Chavez over Tolleson

The Cesar Chavez Champions (Laveen, AZ) volleyball overcame the host Tolleson Wolverines (Tolleson, AZ), 3-1 in Wednesday's league outing.

With the win, Cesar Chavez upgrades its record to 10-12 on the year. The Champions travel to West Point (Avondale, AZ) to play the Dragons in a 6A - West Valley outing on Monday, October 24. The Dragons go into the outing with a record of 16-15. West Point lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ)

The Wolverines now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Westview for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 22. Tolleson will play a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 8-15.
