Nevada High School Volleyball - Churchill County nudged by Fernley

The Fernley Vaqueros volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Churchill County Greenwave to 2 in the Vaqueros league victory on Wednesday.

The Vaqueros now possess a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lowry for a 3A North - East game on Saturday, October 22. Fernley will meet a Buckaroos team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Dayton (Dayton, NV). The Buckaroos record now stands at 15-8.

The Greenwave (9-9) will now prepare for their game against Dayton (Dayton, NV). The Dust Devils enter the 3A North - East game with a 23-5 record. In their last game, Dayton nipped Lowry (Winnemucca, NV), 3-1, in a league game.
