The Live Oak Acorns volleyball squad (Morgan Hill, CA), was tipped 3-2 in Wednesday's league bout with the visiting Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA)

With the win, Independence upgrades its record to 14-4 on the year. The 76ers travel to Los Altos (Los Altos, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 22. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 23-6. Los Altos won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Mountain View (Mountain View, CA)

The Acorns now own a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to Gunderson for a BVAL - West Valley bout on Monday, October 24.
