The New London Whalers volleyball team (New London, CT), went down 3-0 in Wednesday's league challenge with the visiting Wheeler Lions (North Stonington, CT)

The Lions (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, Norwich RVT went down by Wilcox RVT (Meriden, CT), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Whalers encounter the Cromwell Panthers (Cromwell, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 22. New London will attempt to move on its 0-14 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 0-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to Hale Ray (Moodus, CT).
